Helolo from Brazil! As a Christian I got really glad when I watched this special event on directv. It did blessed my life, and my entire family as well!!
I’ve had this show on most of the weekend - and I don’t even normally listen to most of these types of music! That’s going to change. I would love to have a DVD or CD of the entire show. It’s helped to make this a wonderful Easter.
My family love the Songs of Praise aired on Easter weekend. We would love to get a copy of this program if possible. Do you know the name of the song that ended with….three days later,….three days later, …..three days later, He rose!!! Tremendous powerful song of the truth of the gospel. Would like to give it to our choir director! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks again for the excellent worship this Ressurection celebration! Sally Nisley
Sally,
The song you’re talking about is a David Phelps song called “End of the Beginning.” It’s off of his self-titled album. You can find the lyrics on his site.
I don’t know if DIRECTV is planning on releasing a video of the show or not. If I hear anything about them making it available, I’ll post it here on the site.
God bless … Kim
Thanks so much for the information about the End of the Beginning, I loved that song and was having a heck of a time lookfing for it. thank you thank you.
You’re welcome Bea. It is a great song.
Happy Easter All!
Can someone tell me the name of the beautiful long large choral piece -the choir was wearing blue robes? It is a standard classic and they were holding sheet music-it might have started iwht the word “Come’.
Thanks for any help.
