BMI honored 2007's most played songs on Christian radio and TV during the annual Christian Music Awards. Where’s the hip hop representation? Is this a case of lack of talent or lack of recognition? If the latter, it reminds of what happened in secular hip hop 15 or so years ago. There was tremendous bias against it, and it was totally ignored until the people’s voice got the louder than the industry’s voice. Let’s hope so.
