Francesca Battistelli is the newest artist on the Fervent Records roster and this singer/songwriter has a voice with a capital V! Literally born into music with her parents both being in musical theater, Francesca knew that she was going to spend her life performing when, at the age of six, she saw “The Secret Garden” on Broadway. Years later, after tons of dance lessons and theater training, she was ready to take the plunge into music on a national level. Her major label debut, My Paper Heart, will release on July 22nd, 2008. In this About.com exclusive, Francesca herself takes us on a journey into her heart and shows us some of the hidden treasures inside.

I just saw her in concert at our church and she was awsome. She was so down to earth and my daughter and her friends got to hang out with her after the concert. She is a really neat woman.
She is a breath of fresh air. FREE TO BE ME reminds me of God’ free will for us. None of us are perfect,we need God’ grace to be ourselves as He intended us to be.
