pureNRG Counting Down to the Release of Their Fourth Studio Album

Christian Music’s tween group, pureNRG, is scheduled to release their fourth studio album (including a Christmas album) on Fervent Records, July 14, 2009. The Real Thing features upbeat dance numbers and ballads that show off a new level of maturity for the three members.  (Jordan is now 16, Caroline, 14 and Carolyne, 13).

Time really does move quicker when you get older. (My grandma was right all of those years!) For me, it seems like just yesterday that pureNRG came out of the gate so four albums in such a short period of time is amazing. For my youngest daughter, however, time doesn't move as quickly and she has been chomping at the bit for new pureNRG music since in her mind, it has been forever since their last release.

Regardless of how fast the pureNRG whirlwind has traveled, the young group has kept busy. pureNRG just returned from their first international tour in Norway where they did four performances for the Soul Children’s Festival, an educational event with 1500 school age children from Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Ireland who were taught new music under several conductors.  pureNRG provided entertainment for the festival with three performances at the Konserthuset and once at Jernbanetorget. While in the country, pureNRG also got to do some sightseeing with a tour of the Royal Palace and a beautiful boat ride in the city of Oslo. 

pureNRG has a busy summer and fall schedule ahead of them that includes performances at the Creation West Festival in July, a second appearance in August at the American Airlines Center in Dallas at a Ringling Brother’s Circus event and a missions trip to Mexico in October.
