Most of the time, Aaron Sprinkle is behind the board instead of in front of the mic and the projects that he has produced for bands like Anberlin, The Almost, Demon Hunter, Kutless and Jeremy Camp have shown his talent and his deft touch. The former leader of Poor Old Lu and Rose Blossom Punch came back in 2006 with Fair and their debut album, The Best Worst-Case Scenario came out on Tooth & Nail, wowing fans and critics alike. Fair seemed to disappear after that but after four years, they are coming back on February 9th with Disappearing World.
Disappearing World is deceptively simple with straightforward lyrics and not a whole lot of bells and whistles but don't let that fool you. There is meat and muscle in the music and not a single drop of pop "fluff." Sprinkle seems to have taken everything he has learned about making really good music and rolled it into a impressive ball that won't "disappear" from your music library anytime soon.
