To say that I listen to a lot of music would be something of an understatement. Sometimes the music is nothing more than good background noise. Other times it has me dancing in my chair, grinning like a fool and pointing towards the heavens as I praise. But then there are those times that it's as though the songs are more a soundtrack of my day or my life. It's during those times that it's as though God himself is speaking to me through the song that I'm listening to.
Does that happen to you? Have you ever found yourself in the middle of a situation that has you desperate for answers, yet you can't seem to put into words what you're feeling, and then suddenly, a song is speaking your heart? I Will Praise You In This Storm speaks to my heart and soul.Sometimes there are no words for how we feel and feelings just completely overtake you so that you are speachless. In these times I remember this song and just pray I will praise ou in this storm because I am so powerless to do anything else. That is when I am completely and utterly giving myself to the Lord to do as he wishes with me because I know I am helpless without him. I love that song. There is always a storm.
