The ten-time Grammy and ten-time Dove winners, Take 6 (comprised of Claude McKnight, Mark Kibble, Joel Kibble, Dave Thomas, Alvin Chea and Khristian Dentley, who replaced Cedric Dent when he retired last year), will be celebrating 25 years of music this year. Though the famed a cappella group actually formed 32 years ago in Huntsville, Alabama at Oakwood College when McKnight created The Gentleman's Estates Quartet, they have been known to the world as Take 6 since signing with Reprise Records in 1987.
To celebrate the silver anniversary, the group has released One (Purchase/Download), an album jam-packed with 11 ridiculously good songs. Nobody does a cappella like Take 6! They'll also be touring this summer and fall, visiting every where from Illinois to Italy.
