Guide Review - Genie - 'Wildflowers'

Genie's music doesn't dazzle ... it quietly inspires. Not one to follow the trends of what is popular for the moment, Genie speaks from her heart. Her voice, while as sweet as an angels, is not syrupy or heavy. It's a perfect blend for the extraordinary piano work found on this CD. Lyrically, each song tells a story that will touch some part of your heart. As a bonus, each track is duplicated at the end of the CD with "instrumental only" versions, so you either sing the songs yourself, or just listen and relax.

Wildflowers Track Listing

  • Wildflowers (for Grandmother)
  • Quiet Place
  • If Someday
  • Undying Love (for Mom and Dad)
  • To Ariel
  • You Steal My Heart Away
  • Sailing Angel
  • I Love You More Than Life
  • Streams in the Desert
  • Life's Winding Road
  • I'll Always Love You

Personally, my favorite songs are "Undying Love," "Life's Winding Road" and "I'll Always Love You." All beautiful and memorable, as is the rest of the CD.
