Guide Review - Julian - 'Fruit of the Spirit'
In his time as an artist Julian has played along side such artists as Cross Movement and Bebe & CeCe Winans. The excellence that it takes to share a stage with greats such as those shines through in his debut CD "Fruit of the Spirit". From the opening musical interlude called "Fruit of the Spirit I" to the closing interlude, "Fruit of the Spirit III", Julian brings a smooth blend of R&B with a little rap thrown in for a sound all his own. Vocally, he's been compared to R. Kelly "without the sin" and I have to agree. His voice is one of the smoothest baritones on the market today.
Standout cuts on the album include "Why I Worship You" and "We Give You Praise", which show that Julian is truly a worship leader at heart. "You Are My Love" is one of the prettiest Christian love songs that I've heard.
All in all, Julian has given us a very promising freshman release.
