Kim: Guys, this has been great. I really appreciate you taking the time to talk to me. Is there anything that you'd like to say in closing?

Vince: It's been great.

Pete: Obedience is an overall theme for us.

Josh: That's where the name came from.

At this point Josh opened up the CD cover and showed me where the Bible verse Jonah 3:3 is prominently on the inside of the fold-out sheet. "Jonah obeyed the Word of the Lord and went to Nineveh".

Pete: That's something that is a huge thing with us. As long as we're obedient, God will move through us. He'll be present, regardless of if we're obedient or not, but He'll be giving us that anointing that we talked about, as long as we're obedient to Him. We just really want to see people and kids today be obedient, where ever they're at, as well.

Vince: I'm glad that you guys came out. Thanks for missing MercyMe to come see us. That's awesome man. Are you staying for the show?

Josh on stage Kim: Wouldn't miss it.

Vince: Cool. We're playing some new stuff tonight. We'll probably be going into the studio next spring. We're going to tour Acquire the Fire this fall and then this winter we're going to kind of lay low and write a lot.

Josh: Unless God has something else for us.

Vince: Yeah, which you never know what He's up to. He's always doing something, up to something.

Kim: What about you Jon?

Jon: I'm just playing guitar and cook, mechanic, sound man....everything.

Josh: All around harasser....

Kim: A jack of all trades.

Vince: He is, he really is. We went there for a while, between him and Jeff, you know, the guy who's wife had the baby, as strictly a three piece. And after he came on board, we were like "how in the world did we do it without him?" 'Cause he like does everything. It's like, his saying is ... how does it go?

Jon: I got to figure out what's wrong with it.

Vince: Yeah. Everything ... and usually he does figure out what's wrong with it. It can be a Taco Bell burrito or a motor and he'll figure out what's wrong with it.

Josh: He's always fixing something on the van.

Jon on stage Vince: Yeah, with a dime or a bobby-pin or something.

Kim: A modern day McGuiver.

Jon: Exactly.

Vince: It's getting close to the time for us to go out there. We're going to only play about an hour tonight because we haven't been home in a long time and we're going to drive straight through.

Pete: We were on the road and in the air 24 hours yesterday.

Josh: And let me tell you ... I don't like airplane food. I've got a beef with it.

Pete: The meal on the way to Germany the first time ...

Vince: I hated it. I hated it all.

Pete: Except for the candy bar.
