From 1998 to 2004 this Australian band produced a unique sound that made them the most successful independant band in Australia of their time. In 2001 they signed with Essential Records in the United States. They were nominated for a GRAMMY and several Doves and things looked good for the popular band. Then, in February of 2004 The Paul Colman Trio announced that they were going on a "break" that could be permanent.
Paul Colman re-launched his solo career, released two albums and then joined the Newsboys as their guitarist in 2006. He left Newsboys and returned to a solo career in 2009 after Guitarist Jody Davis returned to the band after a five-year hiatus.
Drummer Phil Gaudion went on to become a producer and recording engineer in Australia.
Bassist Grant Norsworthy went on to join a band called Solomon's Wish. From there he joined SONICFLOOd. A side project in the summer of 2004 saw him teaming up with Chicago singer-songwriter Mike Musick to form the band Roads to Rome . Grant stayed on through January 2005 before making SONICFLOOd his only group.
