Trey Pearson Says...

1. What is the most important thing that God taught you this year?

   Wow. That's a loaded question. Ha. I think God is continually teaching me things I've already known with deeper understanding. One of the major things He has been helping me understand in a deeper way is that He knows what's best for us more than we do. He wants us to have an amazing life and to experience amazing things, but we have to trust Him in this and really believe that we're going to love His plan for our lives more than we will love our own plan. One of my best friends in the whole world who is my manager and former youth pastor growing up, Kujo, explained it to me like this; Most Christians know that God's plan is the best thing for us. But sometimes we don't think we'll love His plan as much as we will love our own. We think it's the best thing, but that we might not enjoy it as much. God does not work like that! We have to realize that God's heart is good and He loves us, and that He wants us to be in awe of Him in every part of our life. That's one thing I'm continuing to learn more about.

2. What is your number one New Years resolution for 2007?

   Hmm... My number one resolution is to sell a million records. I keep meaning to do that, and always fall short.
