Orlando, Fla. -Seventeen of Christian music’s hottest and most cutting-edge performers will take center stage at Universal Studios Florida during the nation’s most powerful music event, Rock The Universe, on September 5 and 6.

For the sixth year, music fans will experience a weekend of high-energy performances by the industry’s top-name Christian talent, many of whom are Grammy and Dove Award winners. The performers’ music draws influences from rock, pop, hip-hop, R&B and reggae genres. With their unique musical styles and powerful stage performances, the bands attract a diverse fan base of both Christian and secular fans.

The top-name line-up includes: the rock sounds of Grammy-winners Third Day, the Newsboys and Audio Adrenaline, and the rock-inspired hip-hop of TobyMac. Also featured are:; the alternative rock sounds of Pillar, Skillet, Big Dismal and Justifide; the pop rock stylings of Mercy Me, Superchic[k], Bleach, The Elms ; the R&B-focused Souljahz; and the pop sounds of Taylor, Kristy Starling, Paul Colman Trio and Across the Sky. National speakers David Nasser and Jay Strack will also appear during the weekend to inspire fans.

Guests attending Rock The Universe will also get to immerse themselves in Universal Studios Florida’s thrilling attractions throughout the weekend 4 p.m. – 1 a.m., and including favorites including such as JAWS, MEN IN BLACK Alien Attack and Back to the Future – The Ride. In addition, guests can extend their weekend to include Universal’s Islands of Adventure theme park, where they’ll feel the raw energy of the Hulk on the Incredible Hulk Coaster, or become real live super heroes and save the world on the Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man.

Individual Rock The Universe tickets are $53.95 plus tax for both nights, and single-night tickets are $35.95 plus tax in advance. Day of event tickets are $40.95 plus tax. Tickets and vacations can be purchased in advance online at www.rocktheuniverse.com, by calling 1-866-RTU-INFO (1-866-788-4636) through Ticketmaster or at the front gate on performance days.
