Chris August didn't have the easiest of childhoods. Having parents that constantly screamed at each other and took their frustrations out on him and his brother and sister wasn't easy. However, him giving all of his pain, loss and confusion to the Lord - and the healing that came from that - gave him a strong basis to be able to reach others in the same boat.
