Steven Curtis Chapman Biography:
Steven Curtis Chapman is a name that anyone and everyone who listens to Christian music knows. His list of accomplishments include 56 Dove Awards, 5 Grammys, an American Music Award, 2 certified platinum and 10 gold albums, 10 million total albums sold and 46 #1 radio hits. Chapman is also a huge advocate for adoption; so much so that his family has established Shaohannahs Hope, an organization that provides information and financial grants to families who want to adopt. But did you know that he and his wife also write childrens books?
The Chapmans have also co-authored childrens picture books in a series about adoption. The Shaoey and Dot series, named after the Chapmans first adopted daughter, Shaohannah (Shaoey) Hope, was launched with the Chapmans first picture book, Bug Meets Bundle, in November 2004. Since the first book, two others have followed and all have been popular with adults and children alike.

- The Chapman family created "Shaohannah's Hope," a foundation to help families with funding for adoption (Shaohannahshope.com) in 2002
