Carried Away Biography - The Early Days:

The close-knit Walker sisters and their cousin Christine sang together from early childhood. But on a fateful day in 2000, the girls heard the song "Carried Away" by Sonicflood. Listening to the song, the girls were inspired by the chorus, "I want to get Carried Away." The song touched something deep inside of each of them and they decided to make a career out of singing. Carried Away - the group - was born.

The ladies traveled to Nashville, TN, where they met producer Otto Price. When they discovered that Price was a co-writer of "Carried Away," they knew that they were on a God-inspired track.

Carried Away - The Debut:

Otto Price produced Closer to You, their debut Glide Records release in 2005, and brought in Jeff Deyo of Sonicflood to feature on "Carried Away." The album produced two number one hit singles in Canada in 2005-2006 and also won two GMA Canada Covenant Awards for Pop Contemporary Album Of The Year and Song Of The Year in 2005.

The band has toured with groups like Casting Crowns and Avalon, along with making several appearances at Women of Faith conferences and Jump5’s prominent farewell tour.

Carried Away - Lineup Change:

In June 2008, Colleen Walker announced that she was leaving the group to move onto other dreams and the entire face of Carried Away changed.

Fellow Canadian native Tyler Seidenberg attended the same home church as Pam and Christine. The three became friends and it wasn't long before the ladies asked him to join Carried Away. "He’s honestly such a phenomenal musician and singer who stepped into the role of piano player and harmony vocalist, which is truly a perfect match,” Christine explained in a press release.

Tyler left the band, making it a duo, in 2009.
