SONICFLOOd Biography:
After their debut album released in 1999, SONICFLOOd quickly became known as the "Fathers of Modern Worship Music." Since then, SONICFLOOd has been nominated for a Grammy award, won Dove Awards for Praise and Worship Album and Special Event Album of the Year, and has gone on to sell almost 2 million records.
All of these kudo's haven't gone to the band member's heads though. They are still centered on praising God in all circumstances. That is made clear at every performance when front man Rick Heil shares his testimony of how God brought him through a terminal illness, Crohn's disease. His testimony is followed by a ministry time where the band comes off the stage and prays with those who have come forward.
