Gary Wilson did his first Southern Gospel USA broadcast back in 1987. He had a dream to produce some type of Gospel show on a full time basis...and maybe even move to Nashville, Tennessee -
one day. In the ensuing 18 years he did move to Nashville, but there were plenty of set-backs and hardships to endure and the full time gig still hasn't materialized. The thing about Gary Wilson is that he never gave up on his dream. He never decided that it just wasn't his "lot in life" to achieve what he wanted. "Persistence has always been one of my strongest qualities, especially if someone says I can't do something. Watch out!" Gary explained. "I was always
taught that if you really want something, you have to be willing to
sweat every detail, endure every hardship, every setback, and
literally use every nickel and dime at your disposal until it becomes
reality. It takes planning, prayer, diligence, and constant movement
toward the goal. Nothing can get in your way, or cause you to quit.
After enduring everything life can throw at you, to be able to
finally achieve the goal is a feeling that cannot be accurately
described."
Several months ago Gary set out to produce a Southern Gospel video
program and his persistence has paid off. The very first
Southern Gospel USA video program is now available online. The
half hour show features Southern Gospel video performances,
Southern Gospel music news, and trivia contests. Starting July
25, 2005, a new show will debut every Monday.
Sunlite Broadcasting is hosting the Southern Gospel USA video program, and making it available on demand so viewers can watch at their convenience, 24/7. The program is available for High Speed and Dial Up Internet customers using a Windows Media Player.
