Angel Wars Guardian Force 1 and 2 and HoopDogz showings are designed as an event for kids whose parents are seeing Left Behind: World At War. The kids events include music and videos from tobyMac, 4th Avenue Jones, Sanctus Real and GRITS; all featured on Angel Wars Guardian Force 1 and 2; and from Mercy Me, featured on HoopDogz God Good, Idols Bad.
Kids are going to love this event, says EMI CMG VP, Artist Development David Crace, And parents will appreciate how Biblical values can be taught in fresh, exciting and entertaining ways. Street teams (referred to as The Guardian Force) comprised of parents and teenagers over 1,500 members strong will be working to get the word out about Angel Wars® Guardian Force 2, HoopDogz, and the local church premieres. A schedule of local church showings and information can be found at www.angelwars.com, www.cartoonpizza.com/hoopdogz or www.LeftBehind-WorldAtWar.com.
The action-packed Angel Wars® Guardian Force 2 takes a huge leap forward from the first episode. Chris Waters, creator of the video series geared to pre-teen aged boys, used twice the number of animators to create the second episode, with sound design produced by Hacienda Post (Samurai Jack, Powerpuff Girls, Bionicle, The SpongeBob Square Pants Movie). Guardian Force 2 also presents acclaimed music producer Christopher Stevens for the musical score on the new episode. Stevens has composed music for dozens of award winning games for Sony, Sega, Microsoft, and Vivendi Universal. His music can also be found in hit titles like Tribes, Syphon Filter 3, NBA Shootout, and NFL GameDay. Stevens can also be found in the recent credits of some of Christian music's top artists, including tobyMac, Shawn McDonald, and Audio Adrenaline, as writer and producer.
HoopDogz is a Parents Choice and Dove Foundation award-winning Ten Commandments-based video series for kids age 0-8 from Cartoon Pizza, the creators of popular mainstream childrens shows like JoJos Circus, Stanley, Doug, and PB&J Otter. David Campbell and Jim Jinkins, co-creators of the series, entertain kids of all ages with the antics of the kids who hang out at the HoopDogz diner while learning how the Ten Commandments apply in our lives today. We are delighted to make HoopDogz available for the families who want to attend the Left Behind: World at War church screening, so that its a fun event for everyone. I would hate to see parents miss out on Left Behind: World at War because they cant bring their young children, and now the wont have to, Campbell said. We appreciate Cloud Ten inviting us to participate, and we just hope families have a great time the weekend of Oct. 21! Jinkins added.
Cloud Ten CEO and co-producer of the Left Behind films, Peter Lalonde, welcomes HoopDogz and Angel Wars participation. We are so excited to have the folks from HoopDogz and Angel Wars make their childrens programs available for churches as a quality entertainment alternative for the younger members of the families who want to attend the Left Behind: World at War church screening. Obviously, Left Behind: World at War will be a little intense for these youngsters, so we appreciate very much David Campbell, Jim Jinkins and Chris Waters working with us to make this event a success for the whole family.
Produced by Cloud Ten, the Left Behind films are based on The New York Times #1 Best-Selling book of the same name. The series, which has sold more than 60 million copies worldwide, was written by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins, and follows the lives and struggles of those left behind on Earth after the rapture of the church as foretold in the Bible. Left Behind was named the Best Selling Title of the Year by an Independent Studio and the next film debuted on DVD second only to Spiderman.
