Worship Leader's Praise Awards Nominations & Winners

By Kim Jones, About.com

Mar 1 2005
Worship Leader magazine has announced the 2004 nominees for its 4th Annual Praise Awards. The awards honor outstanding achievement in six key categories: Best Praise and Worship Song; Best Worship Project; Best Scripture Song; Best Compilation; Best Urban or Gospel Project and 2004 Breakthrough Artist.

Winners will be selected by popular vote beginning December 1st and announced in the March/April issue. Votes can be cast by visiting the Worship Leader or Song DISCovery Web sites.

It is the vision of Worship Leader magazine that the Praise Awards "be a medium in which worship leaders can honor and acknowledge the excellence of the artists who have devoted their lives and talents to creating innovative ways for the Church to experience God… not a popularity contest that glorifies celebrity."
