4Him has found much success in the past 15 years of musical ministry, including 11 well-received albums, 24 No. 1 radio singles, 8 Dove awards and a Grammy nomination. But the four guys are moving out into solo work of their own, so Encore is their final record from INO. Fans will appreciate the way they have stayed on track in this offering, while inviting in guest vocalists Point of Grace and Jeremy Deibler of FFH. There’s a nice mix of ballads and more lively tracks, including the funky, horn-laden “Get Down Mountain.” The heartfelt “Carry the Light” will get toes tapping as well. The illustrious group goes out on a high note, a fitting farewell for such favored artists.
