Guide Review - Inhabited - 'The Revolution'
The band's hearts for ministry is this CD's strongest virtue. "Where You Are (Angel)" and "One More Night" are two standout tracks and both overflow with this sense of mission.
Some of their tunes offer a great energy, power guitars building nicely, but ultimately it fails to excite. If I could make a suggestion (because they definitely have talent and passion to spare), Inhabited will be more interesting when they push the envelope a bit more, step out of the safety zone. "One More Night" tells the story of a girl who emailed Sara, needing encouragement. But the song never really addresses her situation; there is a nebulous sense of some sort of trouble ("one more night on that dirty floor?"), but you never really get the first clue about the type of trouble or the help she needs, which makes it difficult to invest emotionally. There's a generic sense to this project, and I think some specificity might engage the listener further. It's real life, people, and we're all in it! Let's use our power to be true; now that's a revolution!
