This band has a lot of potential. I enjoyed most of what I heard and will definitely be looking for great things in their future.

Guide Review - Lost Anthem - 'Otherside of Nowhere'
The CD cover catches your eye immediately and makes you wonder if this is "the one" ... a stand out treasure in a world of the same thing day in and day out. The lyrics on this release are what hit you next. They are real ... and they're delivered in such a way that you just "know" that the band members are just as real. They've lived actual lives, complete with mis-steps and mistakes and they're not afraid to talk let you know it, while focusing on how they made it through.
Overall, this release has an 80's flair but not in such a heavy sense that I felt pulled back in time while thinking "knock-off band of what I grew up on". This band manages to nicely blend the sounds that the 80's were famous for with the musical "tones" of today.
"Too Far Gone" starts the CD off strong with a great 80's sound.
"Forgetful Memory" comes out of the gate with a dark sound, that quickly changes to a soft sounding tune.
"Reason" shows off Jason's vocals and is a personal favorite.
"80's Love Song" immediately had me thinking of George Michael, but that only lasted for a few seconds ... whew!
I don't know if I would go so far as to call this "the one", but it's definitely worth a listen!
