Guide Review - Jaime Jamgochian - 'Reason To Live'
Her debut album on Centricity, Reason To Live, is non-stop great music from the beginning of track one to the last notes of track 13. Not every vocalist out there can pull off transitioning from pop to worship to rock to inspirational - but Jaime does, and does it well, keeping you engaged throughout the entire CD. Her duet with Scott Krippayne, "Lift Up the Name," is such a perfect blend of voices that it sounds like the two of them have been singing together for a lifetime.
Lyrically, Jaime keeps it real and absolutely focused on God. Tracks like "My King, My God," "Here My Worship," "Glorious King" and "Jesus, Light of the World" remind listeners of the majesty of our King.
Stand out tracks include "My King, My God" (my personal favorite), "Glorious King," "Devoted," "You Are," "Lift Up The Name," "All I Want Is You" and "You."
Not many new artists come out of the gate this strong, but Jaime certainly has and I expect to hear more great music from this lady for years to come.
