Palisade

Palisade

The Bottom Line

Tight harmonies and honest lyrics combine to make Palisade a better national debut offering than some reviewers would have you believe. No, the sound presented isn't something never heard before, but who honestly delivers something brand spanking new these days? These three preachers' kids deliver in a big way and definitely deserve a listen.

Guide Review - Palisade - 'Palisade'

Palisade is a unique trio made up of three pastors' kids whose paths crossed in 1999. They have combined their voices to make a wonderful CD. This release brings a good mix of varying musical influences with catchy melodies, uplifting lyrics and excellent harmonies. Palisade delivers in a big way with songs like "Coming Back Again." "Famous," which is already getting airplay on AC and Inspo radio, is a really groovin' tune and "Original" showcases their excellent vocal talents and harmonies. Last, but certainly not least, they add a stirring performance of a classic hymn with "It Is Well" with a little twist. Great production went into this CD and my hat is off to Jeromy Deibler of FFH for his work. I think that we'll be hearing a lot more from this classy trio in the future.
