The first time you listen to Sandi Patty's Hymns of Faith ... Songs of Inspiration you won't find any "new" music, but that doesn't take away from the CD at all. This is one of those releases that has something for everyone. Regardless of your personal favorite style of music, there will be something on this release that you will find yourself playing over and over.
"The Old Rugged Cross," "His Eye Is On The Sparrow" and "It Is Well With My Soul" were extremely well done and the arrangements are simply stunning. Sandi's new rendition of "We Shall Behold Him" is another personal favorite.
As I said before, simply listening to Hymns of Faith ... Songs of Inspiration will cause you to step into a worship mode and you will understand why it is that Sandi Patty hs won 39 Dove Awards, 5 Grammy Awards, 4 Billboard Music Awards and has been inducted into the Gospel Music Hall Of Fame.
