Wow!!! I can't express how nice it was to have an opportunity to listen to this CD. John David Webster is a name that you may not know now, but you soon will. This man is one of those gifted people who will make a huge impact as his career continues to grow. His debut release, Made To Shine, is a catchy, passionate album that reaches out and grabs you, regardless of what style of music you prefer.
His gifted vocals and lyrics really reach out and grab the listener and musically, the songs area as edgy and classic as his message. I could easily compare his music to a broader version of Lynard Skynard with some Black Crowes mixed in. You get piano, a little crunch, some drive and a lot of soul all blended together with this release.
I loved the CD and give it a huge thumbs up. It really does have something for everyone and I can't say enough except "buy it!". If this release is any indication, this young man is going to be one of those people that we continue to hear great things about.
