Manic Drive - Reason For Motion

Brian Littrell

With overwhelming momentum surrounding the release of the Backstreet Boys sixth album, Never Gone, Reunion Records and Backstreet Boys member Brian Littrell have announced that Littrell's solo Christian album on Reunion will move to 2006. The move will allow Littrell extended time to focus on final touches of writing and recording for his debut solo project. No specific street date has been announced.

Thousand Foot Krutch

EMI/Tooth & Nail rock band Thousand Foot Krutch released their new album, The Art of Breaking, July 19. It's the follow up to their previous release, Phenomenon. Trevor McNevan, lead singer, says, "This record is a new page for us that we're excited to turn. It doesn't follow clichés; it is exactly the record we wanted to make. We're very excited about playing it live." Listen for their new single, "Move," on the radio this August.

Michael English

Curb recording artist Michael English has joined the fight against Muscular Dystrophy with the inaugural "A Place Called Hope: Michael English and Friends Benefit for MDA." Artists like David Phelps and Katie Giguere are scheduled to participate. The concert will take place Saturday, August 6, at the Curb Event Center on the campus of Nashville's Belmont University.

Michael Brooks

Detroit's Michael Brooks, best known as a former member of the gospel group Commissioned, is back on the scene with his new choir - "Michael Brooks & Royal Priesthood." Brooks will release his self- titled CD on August 16.

Manic Drive

Rock band Manic Drive will be hitting the road for two months on their Reason For Motion Tour performing at music festivals, youth rallies and clubs from Toronto, Ontario, to Dallas, Texas. Manic Drive will share stages with Skillet, Pillar, Stellar Kart, Michael Tait of dc Talk, Audio Adrenaline, Hawk Nelson and Disciple during this tour. The band just released their new single, "Memories," to radio July 18.

Chris Greenwood

As a teen, Chris Greenwood, a.k.a. Manafest, was an established skater in the Toronto area with sponsorships left and right, but he injured his foot and so his passion for skating turned in to a passion for hip-hop. BEC/Uprok just released Manafest's debut hip- hop/rock album, Epiphany.
