Merry Christmas!
Bible Verse of the Day
- Deuteronomy 8:17-18 (21st Century King James Version)
17and thou say in thine heart, `My power and the might of mine hand hath gotten me this wealth.' 18But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God; for it is He that giveth thee power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore unto thy fathers, as it is this day.
Yes, you have to do your part with what God gives you ... but never forget where it came from in the first place.

Recipe of the Day
-
I love chicken, but after a while, the same old recipes get, well ... old. Tonight I'm going to try something new. Stovetop Rosemary Chicken with Capers & Olives, from Nancy Gaifyllia, our Guide to Greek Food, sounds great. Chicken sauteed with rosemary, then cooked with olives, wine, and carrots. The recipe calls for capers, but I'm going to omit them because the kids will never go for capers.Get the recipe.
