Merry Christmas!
Bible Verse of the Day
- Matthew 18:4 (Amplified Bible)
Whoever will humble himself therefore and become like this little child (trusting, lowly, loving, forgiving) is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
Is your faith like that of a child? Total and without needing God to constantly "prove" to you that He is involved in your life?

Album of the Day
- Who You Are - Desperation Band
Desperation Band offers surprisingly different modern worship done like no other. This is a breath of fresh air in the sometimes boring genre of worship music. This album contains a nice mix of up-tempo songs and ballads.

Recipe of the Day
- I know my mom, so I knew before-hand that she would cook way too much food last night for the party. I also knew that somehow it would end up at my house and I was right. So tonight is going to be a grab and go night with the goodies from last night. To jazz it up and make it healthy, I'm going to make some Black Bean Hummus and serve it with some hot pita bread, raw veggies, and tortilla chips. Saad Fayed, our Guide to Middle Eastern Food, has an awesome recipe that I'm going to use.
Talking about Chritmas in the Middle East, Saad Fayed explains that Hummus is one of the most popular Middle Eastern appetizers, especially around Christmas. "Despite popular belief, Christmas is observed in some Middle Eastern countries. It is estimated that there are over 10 million Christians living in the Middle East with most living in Egypt, Lebanon, and Syria. Saudi Arabia currently has a ban on any other religion besides Islam, therefor no Arab Christians can be accounted for in that country. Smaller Arab Christian populations can be found in Iraq, Turkey, and other countries."
