Christian Recording Artists Join Together for Tsunami Benefit Concert

After the recent Tsunami disaster in Southeast Asia, many local Christian recording artists have announced plans to perform a benefit concert in Nashville. The show will feature performances from Avalon, Rachel Lampa, Tait, Anthony Evans, Everlife, George Rowe, David Phelps, Natalie Gage and Tiffany Farnsworth. The keynote speaker K.P. Westmoreland will host the evening. The benefit concert is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 9th at Rocketown, 401 6TH Ave S. Doors for the event will open at 6pm and tickets are $10.

"It has been amazing to see how many people want to help," said Scott Knabe, event manager. "We all feel led to reach out and help the victims. We are excited and believe in a complete sellout for the benefit." All proceeds from the event will go to Operation Blessing.

"We are of the firm belief that these artists combining their talents will signal what the real heart of the music industry in Nashville is all about," said Sue Ross, artist relation coordinator/promotion coordinator.

Tsunami benefit team is currently seeking corporate sponsors to donate items to be auctioned during the event. To donate items/funds, please email Shawna Marie Hansen at shawna@shawnamariemusic.com.
