The Brannin Agency has announced that Gerald Crabb has been nominated for the ninth consecutive year in the GMA Southern Gospel Songwriters Showcase. The GMA Southern Gospel Songwriters Showcase will take place on April 2, 2006 in Nashville, TN from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM and will celebrate the writers of the top Gospel songs over the past year. During the showcase the writers will sing one of their songs and share the story behind the song.

"I am so humbled by the tremendous ways that God has chosen to use my songs," stated Gerald in a press release. "To receive a nomination like this is just God's way of confirming His use of the talent He gave. Judy Brannin added, "Gerald is so deserving of every accolade that our industry bestows upon him. It is so satisfying to know that he transfers all of that praise right to his Lord and Savior that he writes and sings about."

Gerald Crabb, an eight time recipient of the GMA Southern Gospel Songwriters Showcase Award, has written over 220 songs and has seen nineteen of them reach the number one spot on the Southern Gospel Music Charts.

Gerald Crabb was the founder of the award winning Souther Gospel Group the Crabb Family. Today he travels as a soloist and evangelist ministering all across the country.
