Reverend Timothy McDonald, III was born and raised in Brunswick, Georgia at a time when the Civil Rights Movement was just taking root. As a child, he was forced to go to the back of the theatre for a ticket and saw "for coloreds only signs" in his day to day life. By the age of nine, he knew that America could and should be more. He worked with the NAACP Youth Division and helped fight to integrate the school system.
Today Reverend McDonald serves as the Senior Pastor of First Iconium Baptist Church in Southeast Atlanta, Georgia.
