Kingdom Bound Ministries is now accepting applications for its 2006 International Talent Search. Unsigned Christian singers and/or bands compete for a chance to perform live at Kingdom Bound Christian music festival, held at Six Flags, Darien Lake, NY, August 6 - 9.

Applications are being accepted through April 30, 2006. A panel of industry experts will choose selected applicants, who will then have one of their original songs placed on-line during the month of May on the Kingdom Bound web site. Kingdom Bound fans will vote for their favorite song and the two bands with the most votes will perform on the festival's Park Stage on Sunday, August 6, 2006.

"The talent search is a great way for independent singers and bands to expose their music and ministries to new audiences," said Mark Weber, of ChristianMusicMonthly.com, in a press release. "Kingdom Bound is an established and respected organization, and the talent search is a way for them to help give up-and-coming singers and bands great exposure to tens of thousands of Christian music fans."

Kingdom Bound, which is one of North America's largest and longest-running festivals, features over 40 pop, rock and praise & worship bands as well as several well known speakers. This year's line-up includes Enemy Opposition, Kids In The Way, Hawk Nelson, Randy Rothwell, The Afters and Rick Cua. Tickets include admission to all of the amusement park rides.
