Multi-Platinum Recording Artist Jaci Velasquez Gets Latin Grammy Nomination

Multi-platinum recording artist Jaci Velasquez was announced as a Latin Grammy nominee for Best Female Pop Vocal Album for her Sony/Discos release Milagro. Joining her in the category with nominations are Paulina Rubio, Rosario, Rocio Durcal and Ednita Nazario.

The 5th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards, set for September 1st at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, will be broadcast live by the CBS Television Network from 8 – 10 p.m. ET/PT and hosted by George Lopez.

This nomination joins many other accolades for Jaci’s 10-year career including 3 Grammy nominations, an American Music Award nomination, Billboard Award and Billboard Award nominations, Premio Lo Nuestro Award and Premio Lo Nuestro nominations, 8 Dove Awards and more. Velasquez is currently finishing her new album to be released in November 2004 and doing scattered tour dates throughout the summer.
