Question: What is Instrumental Christian Music?
Answer: Many people have asked how Instrumental music can be labeled as Christian, since the basis for the entire Christian music genre is the lyrics. The answer to that question, at least my answer, is to look beyond the music into the heart of the musician. Is the music maker playing their music for the glory of the Lord? Do they present their musical journey as a ministry? Of course, many instrumental artists do their own arrangements of classic hymns, making the question a no-brainer, but even the non-traditional music can definitely make you feel closer to the Lord.
