Aaron Were on tour with Salvador and it has been a lot of fun. Weve been having a great time with those guys. Theyre a great band. God has been HUGE in us. Refocusing, redirecting us. Big time. Guiding us. Changing a lot of what we thought to be the right things in our lives weve found out where totally out of the steps that He ordered for us. Hes given us all a really huge passion for the local church that were involved in. When we got play places we want to impart what weve learned about the local church and the body of Christ and how it reaches out. You know, how people can be effective in their communities, because thats the way that Jesus intended it to be. So that's our mission statement. How can we be effective in the local church as people? It really has nothing to do with music or the band or anything By The Tree ever did. Its what God is doing in us individually. In us, three really good friends, the relationships have gotten stronger. Thats only come from a result of being plugged into the church really plugged in and being discipled and discipling. Being prayed for and being sent out by our church to do what we do instead of just going out on our own. Thats the really big thing that Gods doing. Its the topic that we always put in our interviews and its what we always want to impart to people in our shows and people we meet. How important the church, the body of Christ, really is.
Great guys - great music - great time. But all good things must come to and end and we had to go our separate ways to do more interviews. Chuck and Aaron tried to talk Ben into going and doing my next interview for me (since we're both blonde) so I could hang out and do some work on their web site, but Ben didn't think he could pass for a 30-something year old female from Georgia!
