When asked what his favorite memories of his mom were, Steve said, "My mom’s love, hugs, cooking. Her personal sacrifice so we kids could have more. Her amazing faithfulness to God, to church and being a Pastor’s wife. Most of all, her prayers and constant encouragement!"
Sharing his love for his family, Steve said, "I’m so thankful that through the years God has given my children the grace and love to be supportive of my music ministry even though it took me away from them at times. There is a price to pay in ministry but it should never be your family. They are a precious gift and responsibility from God."
