The band first traveled to Dallas last week to appear on FamilyNet's At Home Live!, where they performed live and discussed their progress with the Makeover since their last At Home Live! appearance in November, just prior to the start of the campaign. Most evident was the weight loss of lead singer Heather King and keyboardist Caleb King, who in the first 10 weeks of the campaign have lost a combined total of over 40 pounds, courtesy of the Jenny Craig program.
The band then headed to Nashville to tape upcoming episodes of CTN's Bridges and the popular CBN show One Cubed, which airs on ABC Family. They performed on both programs and talked about the makeover campaign.
"Daniel's Window's appearance on One Cubed was absolutely amazing," says producer David DiCicco. "After seeing Daniel's Window's performance, it's easy to see why this group is constantly out on the road booked for venues across the country. Daniel's Window is extraordinary and brings a new quality of music to the industry."
This week, the band travels to South Bend, IN, to perform a 30-minute concert for LeSea Broadcasting's Live From Studio B, and they will also tape a segment for The Harvest Show. Then it's off to Chicago to tape an appearance for TLN's Total Living, where they will be joined on-air by personal fitness trainer Jeremy Likness, their coach for the Christian Music Makeover campaign. Jeremy and the band will visit a local gym to tape a fitness demonstration, and then reunite on the show to talk about the band's progress for the first three months of the campaign. During each performance, the band is showcasing items from Christian Music Makeover sponsors, such as new guitars from Daisy Rock Guitars and Hydra Stools from retailer Dry Ice, which are being given away to Makeover fans weekly on the website.
Daniel's Window performs over 100 concerts each year, including regular appearances at Youth Encounter, Aquire the Fire and Planet Wisdom youth conferences. They have also received numerous accolades including being named one of 2002's "Top 10 New Artists You Should Know About" by Christianity Today and taking 1st place in the band competition at Seminar in the Rockies.
Strangely Looking Forward was released November 2nd, 2004 by Cross Driven Records, a division of Here To Him Music Group, LLC, and Provident-Integrity Distribution.
