Guitar Praise - A New Computer Game

Back in 2005 when the first Guitar Hero was released for the PlayStation 2 console, an international franchise was in the process of being born. 2006 saw the release of Guitar Hero II for PS2 and it became the fifth best-selling video game of 2006. 2007 saw the game release for Xbox 360 and over 3 million units of the game have sold since. Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock and Guitar Hero World Tour have joined the fray, as have several expansion games, allowing users with other gaming consoles to join in the fun.

In mid-September of 2008, a company called Digital Praise will be releasing a similar type of game for computer users (PCs and Macs) called Guitar Praise. The game will feature over 50 Christian songs with 4 levels of play per song and onscreen lyrics for each tune. Two guitar players can each hook up to play together or to have one play lead while the other plays bass.
