David Staton, lead singer for the LeFevre Quartet, recently released a solo single titled “Godspeed” to Southern Gospel radio across the country.

The song was recorded by Staton on a solo project before joining The LeFevre Quartet. Occasionally David does solo concert dates at U.S. military bases across the United States and he always closes his performances with “Godspeed.”

“The lyrics to this song should be every American's prayer for our soldiers,” said David Staton in a press release. “It is a great song full of inspiration and hope.”

David has written music that has been recorded in many genres of the music industry, such as pop, country, bluegrass, Southern Gospel and R&B. "Now I Get It," a song from his latest recording, won Song of the Year from the Georgia Music Industry Association in 2003. He has performed for President George Bush and opened shows for country super-stars like Earl Thomas Conley, Louise Mandrell, Merle Haggard, Tanya Tucker, The Judds and Tom T. Hall.
