When the The Story Tour - A Christmas Spectacular tour, featuring Natalie Grant and Casting Crowns' Mark Hall, Jeremy Camp, Matthew West, The Story creators Nichole Nordeman and Bernie Helms, Selah, Rawsrvnt and renowned author and pastor, Randy Frazee, ends, Natalie will spend Christmas at home with her family. Once the new year kicks off, she will be back on the road with Charlotte Gambill for the 2nd Annual Dare To Be tour.
Six years ago, four time Dove Awards Female Vocalist of the Year, Natalie Grant and Charlotte Gambill met while doing ministry in the US and the UK. As "chance" brought them to the same stages time and time again, a friendship took root. God took two women from opposite sides of the world and knitted their lives together. Before long, they were the best of friends, sharing their lives as they grew together in Christ.
At some point over the years, the two ladies realized that God had given them the same vision. A conference event for women that challenged them to "aim higher, to stretch further - to trust." Grant explained their dream in a press release by saying, "We want to provide a place where women can rediscover their God-given dreams. We want to encourage women to go further than they ever thought possible; that right in the middle of their routine, God wants to shake things up. And right in the middle of hardship, God is providing the fuel for us to do more than just survive; He's calling us all to thrive. 'Dare To Be' is an event that will equip women with courage; so that they can be all that God has destined them to be."
"Dare To Be" events, presented by Hello Somebody and sponsored by Regent University, will feature the two doing what they do best; singing (Natalie) and speaking (Charlotte). Combined, these two powerful women of God will spend the evenings challenging and equipping their sisters in Christ to do more than just survive. They want us all to flourish wherever God has planted us.
Gambill, a well-known international speaker and author, who helps lead Abundant Life Church in England as a Senior Associate Pastor, said, "This wasn't an event we planned. We feel it's a journey we are unfolding and inviting others to join. The earth needs its mothers, daughters, sisters to stand up and unite to care, to involve, to help. Sometimes you just need someone to come alongside you that understands your journey, to open their heart and share honestly their mistakes and victories." She went on to say, "This event is to encourage women to 'dare to be' all God says they can be, to cheer them on and remove limitations, excuses and liberate dreams and destinies."
