"We are so proud of Nichole. It's not often that you get to work with such a gifted writer who can communicate so well. We at EMI Music CMG Publishing are truly honored, said Eddie DeGarmo, President, EMI CMG Publishing, in a press release.
Nichole Nordeman, the lady called "one of Christian music's premier singer/songwriters," by Billboard Magazine, is as humble as she is gifted. Her response to the awards was to say, "It continues to be a strange experience to write songs with such a personal message to share and then be awarded for them. I am so humbled and grateful and reminded how God uses each of us."
Nichole is currently writing while taking a one-year sabbatical (through the fall of 2004). Her plan is to return to the studio on September 1st to record a new album that will have an early 2005 release.
