For almost ten years, the annual Christian Musician Summit has been helping artists around the country through educational opportunities and conferences. In 2012, the Summit will be in Nashville, the home of Christian and Gospel music, for the very first time. The three day event, in partnership with Kingdom Bound Ministries, will feature workshops and performances featuring some the best musicians in the CCM and Country music industries, including Allen Shamblin, Ashley Cleveland, Brenton Brown & The Worship Republic, Cindy Morgan, Phil Keaggy, Ron Block, Steve Taylor, Tom Hemby, Zoro the drummer, along with several others.

Kicking off on October 4, 2012 at Grace Chapel in Franklin, Tennessee with one-day bootcamps for songwriters, guitarists, vocalists and indie artists, the Summit will run through October 6, 2012. There will be daily conference sessions, workshops and performances, followed by nightly concerts by beloved artists like One Sonic Society (featuring Jason Ingram, Stu G from Delirious and Paul Mabury), Dave Cleveland, Tom Hemby Band, Newworldson, and Mia Fieldes. More nighttime activities include a CCM Songwriters in the Round (featuring Cindy Morgan, Ashley Cleveland, Ben Glover, Ian Eskelin and Paul Moak) and a Country Songwriters in the Round (featuring Don Poythress, Tim Rushlow, Ed Hill, Casey Beathard and Allen Shamblin).

In a press release, Bruce Adolph, co-founder of the Christian Music Summit conferences and president of the Adolph Agency, Inc., talked about the Summit and the event being held in Nashville. He said, "Bringing the Christian Musician Summit to Nashville is a dream come true for me. This is our 10th year in Seattle and we also have been producing the conference in Buffalo, New York, and Sacramento, California, for years. But Nashville has so much talent in one region, and we are so excited about the caliber and stature of the musicians and artists who will be teaching at the conference. You do not want to miss this one!"

Information, including conference rates and registration forms, can be found on the official Christian Musician Summit website.
