2007 was a great year in Christian music. Excellent new music came from new faces and old favorites. The Top 40 Christian Hits of 2007 comes from charts like R&R, Billboard, and of course, About.com and is based on how many weeks any given song stayed in the Top 10.

Inpop"Something Beautiful" debuted this past summer at number one, dropped a bit, and came back at number one nine weeks later! This beautiful tune can be found on the remix of
Go.

Provident"After the World," which debuted back in April of '07, is off of the 2006 release,
Scars Remain. My favorite song off of the album, this one rocks!

Tooth & Nail"Evil" is off of the 2007 release
Rival Factions. Interesting song ... interesting album.

Lava/Atlantic"Shine On," with it's definite "brit" sound, is off of
Daylight, from 2006.

Courtesy of: Provident"Already Over" is the second radio release off of
End Of Silence. Back in "the day," we would have called this song a power ballad. Today, what you call it depends on where you live and how old you are. But in any time, calling it a great song fits the bill.

Courtesy of: INO RecordsA new song by a new band that you'll absolutely love. This former "Song of the Week" debuted in January with the album hitting stores later that same month.

Courtesy of: Flicker Records"Waiting" from the 2006
The Healing Of Harms was the second radio release from that album and it solidified Fireflight as a band to watch.

Courtesy of: BEC"Tonight" is the third song from Jeremy Camp's
Beyond Measure to make the Top 50 list! I can't think of a single release that Jeremy has had that hasn't done well, but since he's a talented musician as well as a great human being, it couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

Inpop Records"Stand in the Rain," off of the 2006 release,
Beauty From Pain 1.1, has an almost anthem feel. Superchick fans loved it ... and new fans got a great intro to the group.
