I don't ever think in terms of what is God teaching me or doing in my life in a particular time frame. I think that He is continually revealing Himself and as much of His glory as I can handle at any given time while simultaneously exposing my own intense desire to sit on the throne and run the show. Really, what I think about the life of faith is that every day you dive into a profound mystery that refuses to be defined or to adhere to a slogan or sound bite and the only thing that I can say for sure about last year, this year or next year is Christ and Christ alone.
