Brandon Heath and The Afters carry the top slots this week and Jars Of Clay, Wess Morgan and Chris Tomlin come in with new music. In other words, there is something this week that fits into everybody's playlist.
The official Top Christian Hits Chart is compiled by your Guide by checking and averaging Christian charts and top play lists from all over the U.S. such as Billboard, Cashbox and Air 1 and finding the most popular songs.
1. "Your Love" - Brandon Heath
"Your Love," co-written with James Ingram, is a testament to God's love for us. This marks week #10 for the beautiful song.
2. "Light Up The Sky" - The Afters
Moving down from #1 last week, in week #27, "Light Up The Sky" is the title track from The Afters new EP . We first heard this tune on the popular MTV show “The Hills” last summer. It is also on the new CD, Light Up The Sky, which hit stores in September.
3. "I Will Follow" - Chris Tomlin
"I Will Follow" comes from Chris Tomlin, so you know it will see #1 before long! The song is from the November release, And If Our God Is For Us... and it is pure Tomlin, delivering heartfelt worship from a place deep within.

4. "Beautiful" - MercyMe
In week #3, "Beautiful" is the latest single to come from The Generous Mr. Lovewell. A reminder that no matter what we look like on the outside, God sees us as beautiful, this song is especially timely after so many New Year's Resolutions to lose weight, go to the gym, etc. While being healthy is important, living up to the fickle standards of the world to look like someone else is not.
5. "Starry Night" - Chris August
"Starry Night" comes to us from Chris August, who we met in August when his debut album, No Far Away, hit stores. "Starry Night" has an almost poetic flow to it, as Chris sings of the beauty of God's creation and how he has given his life to the one that made it all.

8. "I Choose to Worship" - Wess Morgan
Our next new song comes from newcomer Wess Morgan, off of his October 2010 release, Under An Open Heaven. A study in the phrase, "Don't judge a book by its cover," Morgan delivers in a big way with power, passion and a soulful voice that could easily compete with the likes of Marvin Sapp, Deitrick Haddon or Fred Hammond.

9. "No Chains on Me" - Chris Tomlin
This week, Chris Tomlin has two songs in the Top 10 from his latest album, And If Our God Is For Us... "No Chains on Me," which was co-written with Matt Redman, debuts this week and this is one of those tunes that sticks in your head long after the last note has faded, making it a favorite in my book!
10. "Way Beyond Myself" - Newsboys
The second single release from Born Again comes in for the 13th week. With a synth sound that is reminiscent of the early Newsboys, this is pop fun with a strong message.
