Casting Crowns still sits on top with East To West. Matthew West joins us with his first single after having vocal cord surgery and Monk & Neagle add to the food for thought with their latest.
1. East to West - Casting Crowns

This beautiful song, off of the latest Casting Crowns release, The Altar and The Door, is one of my favorites. The usual fare from Casting Crowns, "East to West" boasts deep, meaningful lyrics, a perfect blend on the vocals and sterling musicianship. After only four weeks in the Top 10, this song moved up to number one and 19 weeks later it still sits on top.

Yes, you've heard this song before (think Passion), but the Remedy version is inspired and impressive.

5. You Are Everything - Matthew West

Debuting this week, off of the upcoming (Jan. 15) release, Something To Say, Matthew West has a great deal to say after successful vocal cord surgery. This album isn't simply food for thought ... it's food for your spirit.
6. How You Live (Turn Up The Music) - Point of Grace

With a bit of a country flair, "How You Live (Turn Up The Music)," the title track off of the quartet's latest release, is a delightful tune with some strong meaning and a message that we all need to remember. In week 5 in the Top 10, "How You Live" rises up from number 10.
7. In Better Hands - Natalie Grant

From the upcoming 2008 release, Relentless, the piano-driven "In Better Hands" is soft-spoken yet powerful, much like the lady herself.
8. Amazing Grace (My Chains Are Gone) - Chris Tomlin

Chris Tomlin puts a new spin on a classic hymn by adding the very powerful praise chorus "My Chains Are Gone." As always, Chris does a fine job of bringing a classic to the fore-front of the 21st Century.
9. The Twenty-First Time - Monk & Neagle

Debuting this week, "The Twenty-First Time" is the title track off of the band's sophomore release, which hit stores in September. Think Casting Crowns' "If We Are The Body" ... it's not the same sound, but the sentiment is quite similiar.

10. I'm Not Who I Was - Brandon Heath

If you haven't heard Brandon Heath before, this is a great tune to get to know him with. From the 2006 release, Don't Get Comfortable, this song has a really nice, easy sound and in the Top 40 Songs of 2007, it came in at a strong number 5.
