INOThink Casting Crowns' "Who Am I" and you'll get an idea of the theme behind "God With Us."

EMIChris Tomlin puts a new spin on a classic hymn by adding the very powerful praise chorus "My Chains Are Gone." As always, Chris does a fine job of bringing a classic to the fore-front of the 21st Century.

Curb
Beach Street RecordsThis beautiful song, off of the latest Casting Crowns release,
The Altar and The Door, is one of my favorites. The usual fare from Casting Crowns, "East to West" boasts deep, meaningful lyrics, a perfect blend on the vocals and sterling musicianship. After only four weeks in the Top 10, this song moved up to number one and it stayed there for 19 weeks until this week, when MercyMe took top honors.

ProvidentDebuting this week, "For The Love Of The Game" is the title track off of the upcoming (Feb., 2008) release. One word description for this tune ....
Rocks!. Want more? OK -
Rocks Hard!
Tooth & NailDebuting this week, "Carry Me Down" is one of the slower, more melodic songs on
Storm The Gates Of Hell. Not typical DH, but not bad either.

ProvidentDebuting this week, "Never Going Back To OK" is the title track off of another upcoming February release. Upbeat pop is the phrase of the day and The Afters do it quite well.

SparrowMoving down from Number 5 last week, this song is a hit for West. Off of the upcoming (Jan. 15) release,
Something To Say, Matthew West has a great deal to say after successful vocal cord surgery. This album isn't simply food for thought ... it's food for your spirit.
