The official Top 10 Christian hit songs list is compiled by your Guide by checking and averaging Christian charts from all over the U.S. such as Billboard and R&R.
Casting Crowns and tobyMac sit on top this week while new music from Lincoln Brewster joins the Top 10, waiting for a shot at number one.
1. Does Anybody Hear Her - Casting Crowns
The latest single off of Lifesong debuted six weeks ago. One of my personal favorite tunes on the album, this one asks what happens when we, the church, don't even notice the lost. It moves up from number four this week.
3. Everlasting God - Lincoln Brewster
Debuting this week, "Everlasting God" is off of the 2006 release, Let The Praises Ring.4. Shine - Salvador
"Shine," which debuted 17 weeks ago, is off of Salvador's latest release, Dismiss the Mystery. This is a great song, and if you're not already a Salvador fan, after hearing this one, you will be!5. Going in Blind - POD
"Going in Blind" is off of the 2006 release, Greatest Hits: The Atlantic Years. This rockin' tune debuted three weeks ago.6. Already Over - Red
"Already Over" is the second radio release off of End Of Silence. Back in "the day," we would have called this song a power ballad. Today, what you call it depends on where you live and how old you are. But in any time, calling it a great song fits the bill.7. Waiting - Fireflight
Do you remember "You Decide" from the 2006 The Healing Of Harms? "Waiting," which debuted six weeks ago, is the second radio release from that album and it's just as good as the first one!8. Um Good - Smokie Norful
After three weeks in the chart, this soulful, smooth song is off of the 2006 release, Life Changing. "Um Good" is pure Smokie.9. A Better Way - Downhere
Wd first saw this tune hit the chart in November of 2006. "A Better Way" is off of the '06 release, Wide-Eyed And Mystified and I can honestly say that this is my absolute favorite Downhere song!10. Hold Fast - MercyMe
"Hold Fast" is the second single release off of MercyMe's latest release, Coming Up To Breathe. Another catchy tune, this one is a fan favorite.
